Our philosophy

Rosace Studio is a London-based architecture and interior design practice with over a decade of experience delivering some of the capital's most considered residential work.

"We do not design buildings. We design how people experience the spaces they live in."

Every Rosace project begins with the people who will inhabit it — how a family moves through their home, where light falls at different hours, how a kitchen becomes the beating heart of daily life.

Our name derives from the French rosace — the rose window — built from countless precise elements working in geometric harmony. That is our model: each decision in deliberate relationship with the whole.

We begin with listening

Every brief is different. We spend as much time understanding how you live as we do studying your property. The design emerges from that conversation — not from a house style imposed on it.

We design inside-out

Our architects and interior designers collaborate from day one — so spatial planning, materiality and interior specification are resolved together, not retrofitted.

We navigate planning proactively

London's planning landscape is complex. We engage with it early — assessing what is achievable through permitted development and what requires application — before design investment escalates.

We build what we design

Our in-house construction team executes the design to the standard it deserves. There is no gap between the drawing and the finished room — the same thinking carries through to site.

We are honest about constraints

Planning constraints, structural realities and budget boundaries are facts, not problems. We address them early and use them to sharpen — not limit — the design response.

On selected projects, our design team applies a fashion-informed sensibility — treating material, texture and form with the same rigour as a couture collection. London's finest homes deserve no less.

How we work

Seven stages.
One studio.

Every Rosace project follows seven clearly defined stages — from first feasibility appraisal to final construction handover.

— Stage 01

Pre-concept & Feasibility

Site appraisal, planning research and initial design feasibility. We identify what is achievable before any design investment is made — saving time and money at the outset of your project.

— Stage 02

Concept Design

Initial spatial concepts presented and refined in close client collaboration. We explore structural possibilities, spatial relationships and the experiential qualities that will define the project.

— Stage 03

Schematic Design

The chosen concept developed into a full schematic — detailed enough to price and assess, resolved enough to present with confidence. Interior design begins in parallel at this stage.

— Stage 04

Planning Application

Full planning drawings, design statements, heritage assessments and all supporting documents prepared and submitted to the relevant London borough. We manage the authority relationship throughout.

— Stage 05

Approval & Tender

Once planning is secured, we prepare a full tender package and manage contractor selection — or move directly into construction mobilisation with our in-house team.

— Stage 06

Structure & Building Regulations

Technical design fully developed — structural engineering coordination, building regulations drawings and specifications prepared to secure all required consents before work begins on site.

— Stage 07

Build & Completion

In-house builders carry the project through to practical completion and handover. Ongoing contract administration, site monitoring and quality control throughout — one studio, one responsibility.
