Our philosophy

Rosace Studio is a London-based architecture and interior design practice with over a decade of experience delivering some of the capital's most considered residential work.

"We do not design buildings. We design how people experience the spaces they live in."

Every Rosace project begins with the people who will inhabit it — how a family moves through their home, where light falls at different hours, how a kitchen becomes the beating heart of daily life.

Why choose Rosace

Why London's most
demanding clients
choose us.

We focus exclusively on high-end residential work where design quality, material intelligence and planning expertise are non-negotiable.

Over a decade of working across London's most complex residential boroughs has given us deep fluency in what makes a planning application succeed, what makes a home feel right, and what makes a client trust us to deliver.

01

Full in-house capability

Architects, interior designers and builders under one roof. No fragmented handoffs — one studio owns every stage from first sketch to final handover.

02

Deep London planning knowledge

Over a decade navigating London's borough planning authorities, conservation areas, listed buildings and permitted development rights across the capital.

03

High-end residential focus only

We work exclusively where design quality and spatial precision matter. Every project receives the same level of attention — regardless of size.

04

Design & fashion-led approach

Selected projects benefit from our distinctly fashion-informed interior design direction — bringing a unique, editorial visual language to high-end London homes.

05

Transparent, staged process

Seven clearly defined project stages — from pre-concept feasibility to build completion — with honest timelines and clear deliverables at every step.

Our approach

How we
do it.

Our design process is rooted in precision, restraint and a deep understanding of how London homes are lived in — and how they can be transformed without losing their character.

01

We begin with listening

Every brief is different. We spend as much time understanding how you live as we do studying your property. The design emerges from that conversation — not from a house style imposed on it.

02

We design inside-out

Our architects and interior designers collaborate from day one — so spatial planning, materiality and interior specification are resolved together, not retrofitted.

03

We navigate planning proactively

London's planning landscape is complex. We engage with it early — assessing what is achievable through permitted development and what requires application — before design investment escalates.

04

We build what we design

Our in-house construction team executes the design to the standard it deserves. There is no gap between the drawing and the finished room — the same thinking carries through to site.

05

We are honest about constraints

Planning constraints, structural realities and budget boundaries are facts, not problems. We address them early and use them to sharpen — not limit — the design response.

06

We bring fashion to architecture

On selected projects, our design team applies a fashion-informed sensibility — treating material, texture and form with the same rigour as a couture collection. London's finest homes deserve no less.

Our process · RIBA Plan of Work

RIBA stages.
One studio.

As ARB-registered architects, every Rosace project follows the RIBA Plan of Work — seven stages from strategic definition to final handover, delivered entirely in-house.

RIBA Stage 0

Strategic Definition

We appraise your property, budget and planning context before any design work begins. Our pre-application research with the local authority identifies what is achievable — protecting your investment from the outset.

RIBA Stage 1

Preparation & Brief

We work with you to prepare a detailed client brief alongside measured surveys, site analysis and planning research. Every constraint, opportunity and design ambition is clearly mapped before concept work begins.

RIBA Stage 2

Concept Design

Initial architectural concepts are developed and presented in close collaboration. Spatial layout, natural light, material palette and early interior design direction are explored and refined until the design ambition is fully resolved.

RIBA Stage 3

Spatial Coordination

The developed design is coordinated with structural engineers and specialist consultants. We prepare your full planning application — drawings, design statements and heritage assessments — and manage all London borough authority liaison throughout.

RIBA Stage 4

Technical Design

All technical information is fully resolved: building regulations drawings, specifications, structural details and a complete tender package. Every consent required before work begins on site is secured at this stage.

RIBA Stage 5

Manufacturing & Construction

Our in-house construction team builds the project to the standard it deserves. We administer the contract, monitor quality on site and ensure the design intent is delivered precisely through every stage of the build.

RIBA Stage 6

Handover & Close Out

Practical completion, snagging, final inspections and formal handover to you. We compile all certification and as-built documentation, and hand over a home built precisely to what was designed — one studio, one responsibility.
